UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC): “The facts be hung”

German philosopher G.W.F. Hegel (1770-1831), when challenged by a student that the facts did not conform to his theories, is reported to have responded,

“Then the facts be hung.”

Hegel insisted that the facts be changed (killed, actually) to fit his theory.

Today, we simply replace Hegel with the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The 5th Assessment report is only out for a few days, and already there are obvious problems with it.
