There are legitimate disagreements over climate science and the usefulness of climate models. Scientists on all sides of any climate issue are all working from the same observational data except when governments refuse to release data as in the case of ClimateGate. Then climate science is distorted.
The climate has changed, is changing, and will change in the future. The media mantra that so and so is just a climate change denier is complete nonsense. In this case (here) it is the EPA administrator who is being attacked. Whatever EPA does one way or the other will have no meaningful effect on how climates change. These sorts of name calling attacks occur when the name calling accuser has little to no science to back their position. At this point it’s all about protecting the institution or agency’s government funding and little to do with science.
